How
to Burn |
 |
STEP
ONE Trim
Every time you burn your candle, trim your
wick to 1/4 to 3/8 inch on pillars and at
3/8 to 1/2 inch on soy container. If your
candle flame seems too high, blow out your
candle and re-trim to a lower height. |
 |
STEP
TWO Place and Light
Choose a good place to light your candle.
Be sure to keep your candle out of drafts
such as air conditioning or heater vents.
We also recommend that you place your candle
on a fire-proof surface that can collect wax
if the candle should drip. Light the wick
of your candle with the flame of your choice. |
 |
STEP
THREE Burn
The first time you light your new Pacifica
candle, we recommend that you let it burn
an hour for every inch in diameter. For instance,
if you have a two inch wide candle, you should
burn it for at least two hours. This helps
it burn more consistently and keeps it from
burning down the core of the candle. Enjoy
your burning candle! |

STEP
FOUR Extinguish
Remember to blow or snuff out the flame of
your candle. When you blow out your candle,
be careful that you do not blow hot wax off
of the top of the candle. Never leave your
candle unattended, or where children or pets
are able to reach it. |
